Joe Hill born January 20, 1944 in Halifax, SC son of Evelyn
Clemons and the late Grant Savage. On November 10, 2018
after a lengthy illness Joe went home to rest with the Lord.

Joe came to Baltimore at a young age; he received his education
in Baltimore Public School System. Joe worked at Sparrows Point
ship yard for over 20 years and at Mercy Hospital for almost 20
years.

Joe met and married Charlene Robinson in 1987 and from that
union they had a blended family of seven. Joe was a people
person he loved to tell jokes just to keep you laughing. He loved
them streets of Baltimore. He enjoyed watching sports and
westerns. His loving presence will surely be missed.

Preceded him in his death his oldest son Joseph L. Hill;
grand-daughter, Tori Williams; brother, James Hill and
sister, Evelyn Clemons.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory;
his mother Evelyn Clemons; a wife of 31 years, Charlene Hill;
four sons, Justin, Terrell, Reggis and Jordan; two daughters,
Channon Hill and Jerri (Eddy) Cooper of Hemingway, SC;
one daughter-in-law, Jamie Hill two sons-in- laws, Andre
Cooper of Hemingway, SC and Antoine Mcknight; sixteen
grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, one sister,
Helen Clemons; . three brothers. Julius, Jeffery and Andrew
Clemons; five brother-in-laws, Lewis Pindell, Lowell Robinson,
Perry Williams, Gary and Glenn Townes; seven sister-in-laws
Cordelia Hill, Sharon Townes, Sheila Pindell, Gretchen Robinson,
Karen Townes, Lynn Townes and Joann Williams; one uncle
Cephus Hill and one aunt Betty Hill and a host of nieces,
nephew, relatives and friends.
