Joey Dimitris Rascoe was born November 6,1979 in Baltimore, Maryland
to Vonda L. Horsey and the late Dimitris Rascoe. He completed this journey
and was called to rest on June 20, 2018.

Joey was raised up in church and introduced to Christ at an early age.
He attended United Baptist Church. There Joey served on the choir and
the usher board. His favorite gospel song was "The Battle is not yours,
Its the Lord" by Yolanda Adams.

Joey or "SCOE" as he was affectionately known by friends and family
started his education in Baltimore City Public Schools. He completed his
education at Lake Clifton Senior High School. There he played football,
basketball and lacrosse. He loved math and was extremely good at it.

Joey was employed at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he enjoyed cooking
and interacting with the public.

Joey leaves to mourn, mother - Vonda Horsey, stepfather-Gregory Horsey,
four brothers- Cory, Jerome, Dimitris and Gerrell, his step brother-Richie,
and one step sister- Tameka and four sister-in-laws. He also leaves his
beloved five children, Tyauna, Ja'Bra, Jamari, Joey and Jazmine. Two
grandchildren - Journey and Jaden, nieces, nephews, a host of aunts, uncles,
cousins, family and friends .
