John Henry Boyd was born on March 19, 1920 to the late Wilie Estelle Williams Body and Waymon Body. He transitioned from this life on December 28, 2011. John was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. John worked and retired from Albert Goetze Meat company after thirty-years of service. John met and married Stella E. Barber in 1943, who preceded him in death in 1985. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and two sisters-in-law, Arthur Lee Boyd Clarice, Nathaniel Boyd, Sr. Rose; sister, Willie Mae Boyd Alston; and one niece, Denise Boyd. During his later years he provided transportation for Seniors in his retirement facility, St. James Terrace. He enjoyed being able to serve them in this capacity and the fellowship that was created between them. John H. Boyd leaves to cherish his memory; brothers Clyde Boyd and Clarence Boyd wife Phyllis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
