JOHN ROOSEVELT BROWN RN, the son of lillian l and the late theodore r. brown, was shepherded by the late alexander and corinne jackson starting hisjourney on may 12, 1959 at 3:50 pm in baltimore maryland. jonh's journey ended on august 12, 2009, at 12:20 pm surrounded by family and friends in prayer. john received his education in baltimore city public school system, graduating from mergenthaler vocational- technical high school in 1978. after graduation john became employed with the departmnt of health and mental hygiene of marylanddhmd. always extending his hands of healing , jjohn started his career in nursing. he graduated from dhmh school of practical nursing and became a licensed practitioner nurse lpn in 1982. while working several years as a lpn at provident and deaton specialty hospitals, h managed to maintain his full-time job at spring grove state hospital center he retired. although john had retired in mind but not in heart he started nursing at washington hospital center washington, dc and university specialty hosptial in willing and able to face new chanenges, john became emploed with the federal goverment at baltimore veterans administraion medical center where he was employed until his untimely death. john leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, lillian l. brown of baltimore, md; stepmother, bernice wheeler of pasadena, md; his sister, barbara and brother, theodora jr.teddy brown both of pasadena, md; his extended sisters, dorothy logan-taylorwarren karla evans- tyson james bonita ware antoinette ford all of baltimore md and michele hyson of dale city , two grandchildren , briana renee and carmeron isaiah mason of owings mills md devoted friend and confidant marc greene of baltimore md twenty-three niece and nephews and a host of uncles aunts, cousin, other relatives and friends.
