John Thomas Castle Jr, was born September 07, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Thomas Castle Sr. and Elizabeth Eliza Castle. He departed this life on January 27, 2021.
John Thomas Castle Jr., affectionately known as Tommy or John, received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He was an honors student with excellent attendance and received many achievement awards. He graduated and received his diploma from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1968, where he also played basketball. In 1969 he received a certificate from Cortez W. Peters Business College and a few years later another from Prince George's Community College.
John Thomas Castle Jr. married Evelyn Castle in 1969 and from this union they had three lovely daughters. Later in life he married Carol Ann Castle who preceded him in death.
Tommy/John was a hard working man. Starting his working career at the age of 14. Tommy had a host of different jobs mostly in the meatpacking industry. Tommy/John was an avid sports fan; he loved the Baltimore Ravens, the Detroit Pistons, and later the Los Angeles Lakers. Tommy/John loved to cook and grill, he also loved to eat. His favorite saying was "Eat now because you never know when you are going to eat again."
He leaves to cherish his memory: His First Wife (Fiancee') Evelyn Castle; his three daughters, Angelique Castle ( Richie James), Andrea Carrington (Courtney Carrington) and Andrena Gibson (William Gibson); his grandchildren, Latokia, Roland, Ladreana, Jasmine, Shakera, Tashera, Myla, Tyjoun, Kyler, Anthony, Shiloh, Az'Mariah, Anita, and Quentin; his great grands, Ayden, Lynen, Mike, and Laelyn; his brothers and sisters, Charles E. Smith, Dr. Elizabeth Castle, Beatrice Bailey, Donald Castle and Loving sister-inlaw Cardenia Giles, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John will truly be missed by everyone.
