JOHN  FELTON  GARNETT  was  born  on  June  30,  1938  in  Baltimore,  Maryland to the late Samuel and Myrtle Garnett.
John attended the Baltimore City Public Schools.
On November 16, 1979 he married Ruth Geneva Jackson in Baltimore, Maryland.
John  was employed  by  many  employers but the job  he ultimately  loved  was being  a truck  driver.  He was a reader.  The Baltimore Sun  newspaper was his favorite.  He also  loved  watching  old  western  movies and  the history  channel as well as a good cup of coffee and a crossword book.
John  had  two  friends  he  considered  his  daughter  and  son  (Linda  Hawks  and Donald Penn) and a host of other friends.
He is preceded in death by his three daughters, Angela Tilghman, Alvenus Deaver, Bonita Garnett, and four grandchildren.
John  leaves to  cherish  his memory: his wife,  Ruth; two  daughters,  Barbara Council (husband  Lemont),  Annette Garnett; three sons,  Bryant Jackson  (wife Teresa),  Dearl Jackson  (wife Monique),  Junal Garnett (wife Angela); one sister- in-law,  Bernice Rogers; and  a host of grandkids,  great-grandkids,  one great-great- grandkid; several nieces and nephews.
