John Marvin Reazer, Sr., son of the late Marshall and Molly Reazer, was born October 25, 1926 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He departed this life on March 3, 2015. He received his education in Greensboro, North Carolina. After high school, he joined the United States Army and served with distinction. After his military service, he was employed as a Merchant Seaman and later worked at General Motors. Johnnie was married to Ruth Gales Reazer whom, he loved dearly and precedes him in death. With this union, he was blessed with children: Alice, John Jr., Kevin, Marlena, Dwayne, and Shannon. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Johnnie was an active member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church where he served faithfully. Johnnie had the spirit of a lion and was a sports enthusiast as a Cowboys fan. He also loved Westerns movies. In addition to his children, he leaves to mourn: 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 50 great-great grandchildren, a sister-in-law (Betsy), two brothers-in-law (Michael and James), and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and very special friend, Sharon Brown.
