John Henry Weston, Jr. son of the late Jon weston Sr. and Margaret Ann Weston was born December 25, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this earthly life on October 29, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Affectionately known to his large family as "Junior" and to his many friends as "West," he was educated in the Baltimore City public School System. Ihn nineteen fifty-five he jioned the United States Air Force where he served honorably until his discharge in nineteen fifty-nine. Suring his service he took up boxing, at which he was very talented. Junior returned to Baltimore where he found employment at Armco Steel. He retired in 1993 after thirty-years of diligent service. He spent his retirement enjoying life and family. He often visit gaming casinos, a favorite pastime. He also spent Christmas and holidays with various family members. To keep him occupied, in his retirement years Junior held several part-time jobs. Gregarious by Nature, Junior amassed a wealth of friends. He became like a god-father to many of their children and father figure to his many nieces and nephews. In his later years Junior devoted his life to God. He attended Shiloh Baptist Church, and regularly and contributed to Catholic Charities, in honor of his mother's name. He was preceded in death by sisters Marva Weston, Christine Newton, Gloria Brown, and brother; James O. Weston. He leaves to mourn sister; Mary Sith, nieces Gloria Ball Jerome, Carolyn Newton,, Velma Miller James, Margaret Gray Richard, Daarlene Brown, Pamela Williams, Cynthia Weston, Yolanda Brooks; nephews; Jeffery Newton, rodney Newton Yvette, Roscoe Newton, Gary Newton, Nicole Miller, Arielle McCray Ernest, Kieth Newton, Cory Newton. He also leaves a host of great-great nieces, great-great nephews and faithfuo friends.
