John A. Wheatley, son of the late John Wheatley, Sr. and Louise Mason, was born on October 14, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on July 24, 2012. John, known as "Puddin," lived his entire life in Baltimore City. Her received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. "Puddin" made numerous friends wherever he went. He will be remembered for his funny and loving personality, the way he wore his caps, walking on the back of his shoes and his Jack Purcell tennis. He will be sincerely missed. Preceding him in death are; grandparents, Poppie and Anna Mason; father John Wheatley, Sr.; mother Louise Mason; brothers Jerry Jerry, Robert, Larry and Ronnie Hunt; sister Paulette Fitzgerald. He leaves to cherish his memory; four daughters, Darniece Wheatley, Coia Carrington, Shawwna Hopkins and Rashida Jackson; two sons, Brian and John Wheatley; stepmother, Ella Wheatley; devoted partner in life, Joyce Hall and her son Gregory Hall; two brothers, Tyrone and Wendell; six sisters, Gary, Terry, Anntionette, Anna, Vivian and Jacqueline; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
