Obituary

Johnnie H. Hawkins, son Perry Sr., and Willie Mae Hawkins, was born on Febuary 26, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on November 8, 2009. He received his education through the Baltlimore City Public School System. He was the owner and proprietor of S.A.M. Superior Auto Make-Over Car Wash & Detailing LLC. He married the former Chiquette Rascoe in September 1997. He had four children, Jayla, Jamar, Donyette, and Johnnie. He had one daughter, Madison. He also leaves to mourn; three sisters Mae, Gale, and Tracy; three brothers Perry Jr., Maurice, and Octavian mother-in-law Eunice Logan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded him in death were three sisters Carolyn, Nan and Karen. Jonnie was a happy person. He loved to party, dance, and have fun. He took life seriously and did not hesitate to help someone. He gave from the heart. He would often stop and give money to a homeless person. Johnnie was a loving father and provider. He loved his family more than anything. Other things he loved were lifting weights, boxing, jogging, and caring for his dog. He could bale one of the best pineapple upside down cakes you ever tasted. Johnnie's desire to own a car wash stemmed from his love for cars. He love for started at a young age. He began playing with model cars. He then graduated to taking his mother's car for a spin. This was short=lived when his father caught him driving. Johnnie was proud to have his car wash and fride himself on doing a superior job for his customers. His car wash was almost as beautiful as his smile. Johnnie will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
