What's Up!

This is Jordan Diaz Taylor I was placed in your village on April 18, 1993 at

4: 17PM. The tent where I found shelter belonged to Kim and Gernard I

soon came to know them as Mommy and Daddy. Given many names that I

was affectionately called Iordy, Ed, and Mommy called me Diahir.

The name of this village is know as Baltimore, Maryland and I recieved my

education in the Baltimore Public School System. Through my journey

as a young black man I've experienced many life taught lessons so I've never

fogotten my teachings. The memories of my childhood and my short adult life

are many but I ask you to hold them for me in your special place.

As a child I sat in our Father's house with Grandma Hilda at Unity United

Methodist Church, she made my brothers and I wear our pants over our

rib cages. Aunt Betty at Mount Nebo would always take us to McDonald's

after service was over. I've never forgotten that before I was yours I was his.

"Do me a favor" as the days pass you will forget about me but from time to

time wave to my tent. My Parents: Kim and Gernard; My Sons: Landon and

Jordan; My Siblings: Lloyd, Tyraye Allan, Tyler, Niqicolas, Tarina, Gernard,

Deonte, Ganaye, Gabria, Gernard, Ganara, Lashae, Ianiya and Aniya; My

Grandparents: Hilda, John, Theresa and Ernest (waiting at the Metro) All my

aunt's, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins. I was also embraced by

others in the village. My bonus Mom who stood strong when I took my first

breath, my adopted siblings: Keisha, Inetta, Davone, Christopher, Jamal, and

Stephone.

To my Godparents, I heard you when I wasn't listening Amy, Michelle,

Cornell, Rodney, and Will. To my cuzzo's Robbie and Alex, I love y'all. To

my friends I'll watch over you Jessica, Ashtony, Courtney, Takia, Jamar, Jamal,

Devin, and Vincent.

I won't say Goodbye I'll say see you soon. There are other family and friends

from my new village that have been waiting for me at the Metro since July 2,

2019 at 11 :44 PM. I was texted that there's a meal prepared for me in my honor

so I got to go for now. I sure hope that no one fixed chicken .. .I hate chicken.
