Joseph Lee Austin, son of Ida LAmpkin and the late Lenwood Austin, Sr., was born January 18, 1964 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He departed this life on May 11, 2006 after a short illness. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. At the age of twenty, he became employed by Jack Haden Trash Company. From his marriage with Tawanda, one child was born, Lakeisha Austin. Joseph made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and a devoted family man. He leaves to mourn: his daughter, Lakeisha Austin and unborn grandson; mother, Ida Lampkin and stepfather, John Lamkin; three sisters, Victoria Warner, Sylvia Mason, and Monique Lampkin; three brothers, Lenwood Austin Jr., Vandy Lampkin, Leonard Austin; two brothers-in-law, nieces, nephew; a special friend, Barbara Anderson; and a host of relatives and friends.
