Joseph Bailey Evans began his life's journey on March18, 1944,He was the loving son o f the late Joseph O.Evansand the late ErmaK.Evans in Baltimore, Maryland.

Joseph was fondly called "Billy" by all who loved andknew him. To his family he was "Little Billy", to his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids he was called "Pappy".

Billy received his formal education in the BaltimoreCity Public Schools, his senior high school years at Frederick Douglas High School.

He had many jobs, but house painting was what he perfected. Billy could paint a wall and never spilled a drop onthe wood-work. Billy also could lay carpet and tile like a pro,yes, he was a master in his undertakings.

Although he did not belong to any ones church, hewasa strong believer in God and living a righteous life.

Billy was a kind and generous person who would give youhis last cent if you were in need. He was forgiving, warm,affectionate, friendly and always ready to listen to others andhelp whenever he could. Billy had a wonderful sense of humorand seldom showed a "dark side" if he had one. He couldmake you laugh until you "bust your stitches".

Billy leaves his memories most precious to: his only sibling, Maria (nee Evans) Eddy; nephews, Kieron Evans andAyrron Thomas; great aunt, Della King; uncle Ronald Kingand three great nieces. Although Billy never had children ofhisown he wasDad to his soulmate "Chink's" kids, Kimberly, Clifford (NewYork) and Tekima; seven grandkids, 9 greatgrandkids special son Darryl; close cousin, Eric and many otherrelativesanda host of friends. His parents and grandsonBouja preceded him in death.
