IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joseph Keith
Harris
August 10, 1961 – November 4, 2024
JOSEPH KEITH HARRIS was born to Lilly-Mae Jones and Joseph Harris on August 10, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. After a sudden illness, Joe Harris entered eternal rest on November 4, 2024.
Joseph received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools.
Joe learned a trade in roofing at an early age. After he mastered his gift he went on to start his own roofing business - H&H Roofing. Joe Harris was a man of many talents and he didn't play about his finances. Joe Harris loved the streets of B-more, but he was a go-getter, his favorite place to chill, watch the game, and talk trash with his buddies was Patterson Park and North Avenue. Joe had many nicknames that wifey and friends used to call him "Joe Harris" was one of them. One day while Joe Harris was hanging out at his favorite spot his brother-in-law Wayne rolled up on him and called him by his government name "Man" you should have seen how
fast he ran to the truck!!! to tell Wayne that they don't know him by his government name. One thing for certain and two things for sure Joe Harris loved his wife (Baby) and Joe Harris as she called him loved each other for more than 40 years. It was an honor to be his wife.
Everyone who knew Joe Harris loved "him and he loved" them back. One of his sayings was "Go talk to my wife". Joe Harris was a jokester and a legend. Ask his second wife Darlene W! Joe didn't play about his kids, one of his most precious memories was when he walked his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. Joe Harris "loved life".
Joe also had a serious side to him and he knew things weren't always gonna be perfect all the time, Wifey would always tell him "if you love something set it free. If it comes back, then it's meant to be." And with God on our side, our vows stood the test of time.
Joe Keith Harris was preceded in death by his mother, Lilly-Mae Harris; sister, Roberta; brother, Sylvester; great-nephew, Errique; and niece, Kierra.
Joe Harris leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Brenda L. Overbey- Harris; his father, Joseph Harris; 7 children, Deon, Ja'Keisha, Keith Jr., Tyshawn, Shatona, Jamel and Shaleah; 24 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Joanne, Jeanette and Delphine; 2 sons-in-law, Alex and Kevin; 4 sisters-in-law, Charlene, Debra, Mona and Kat; 5 brothers-in-law, Andrew, James, Troy, De Wayne and Norris; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
