Joseph Harvey, son of Ernest Harvey and Florence Green was born on December 17, 1929 in Baltimore Maryland. By Joe as he was so humbly called by many; was called home on March 18, 2014 after a short illness. He received her education from the Baltimore City Public school system. Joe met the love of his life N orine Harvey after completing high schooL They were married for 62 years and from this union they had two sons that preceded him in death; Herbert Corbin and Joseph Harvey. During his working years Joe was employed by Schmitz Bakery for 3S years and there is where he retired from as the lead mechanic. Joe was very skillful with his hands and a set of tools. He was a loving man who cared for his family, and didn't mind telling it like it was. He had a great sense of humor that was honest but also very funny. Joe spent his retired years taking care of his best friend and the love of his life Norine. He was a very loving, compassionate, strong and mighty family man. He loved to walk and he took a lot of pictures. He would help anyone in need but he did not take any mess from no one. Joe was preceded in death by his loving wife Norine Harvey. His sisters Margaret, Pearl, Vye and Catherine, his brothers Julius, Roy, Nenore, and James. He leaves to cherish his memory: his one sister, Ida May, one sister-n-law, Geneiva Harvey, his eleven grandchildren, thirty-five great grand-children, three great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
