Joseph Odoms, was born in Greensboro, North Carolina on February 26, 1931. He was the middle child of three brothers and one sister to the late Jewel Odoms and Madora Gallman. Joseph earned his diploma at Frederick Douglas High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in the United States Army for four years and then was employed at Bethlehem Steel in Sparrows Point, Maryland where he retired in the mid 1990's. Joseph met Mary Ann Elizabeth Randall in 1958 and they wed in 1961, they had two children, Darlene Correll Odoms and Andre Alonzo Odoms. Joseph was very funny and loved to joke around, sing and travel with his wife, children, family and close friends. Joseph and Mary completely gave their lives over to the Lord in the late 1990's where they joined Friendship Baptist Church. As a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Joseph served as a Deacon and was a member of the Men's Chorus. Joseph was the last survivor of his siblings, Paul, Sarah, John and Nepolian. He leaves to mourn in his memory: his wife, Mary Odoms; his children, Darlene and Glenn Williams, and Andre Odoms; his grandchildren, Liani Odoms, Dominic Joseph Odoms, Debra Weems and Chanel; his great grandchildren, Derek Joseph Odoms, [' asiah Weems, Destiny Odoms, Trinity Odoms, and Princeton Jo'Rog Weems; his brother and sisters-in-law, Billy and Diane Randall and Evelyn Odoms.
