Joseph Franklin Stepp, Sr., son of the late George Edward and Edna May Stepp, was born on December 28, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on September 12, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He received his education from Baltimore city Catholic Schools. In his early years he was employed at Central Products. He continued his career at Morton and Sons Moving Company. Joseph was fond of horses, sports and music. He made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and devoted father and grandfather. He leaves to mourn; his ex-wife, Louise Stepp-Sanders; two daughters, robin Reed and Stephanie Stepp of Brooklyn, New York; two sons, Joseph, Jr. and Michael son Rodney Stepp preceded him in death; one sister, Doris Hammonds sister, Edna Hawkins preceded him in death;one brother, Donald Stepp also preceded him in death; fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends, including a close friend, Denise.
