Joseph E. Stewart, son of the late Joseph E. and Beatrice R. Stewart, was born on September 27, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland. He quietly crossed over on March 8, 2008 after a long illness. He was educated in the Baltimore City School System. He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. Joseph worked for the U.S. Postal Service for over thirty years. Joseph was a humble, gentle person who people responded well to. He was very friendly and welcoming to those he encountered. He leaves to mourn: two sisters, Lenora Powell and Helen Stewart; sister-in-law, Mary Stewart; brother-in-law, Walter Tripp. Preceding Joseph cross over are his siblings Mary Tripp, Beatrice Nolan and James Stewart. Joseph was blessed with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
