Joseph L. Young, son of the late John and Margaret Young, was born on March 13, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on January 18, 2011 after a long-term illness. He received his education at Bates High School in Annapolis, Maryland. He received Christ in his life at an early age and attended numerous baptist churches throughout his lifetime. Joe started employment at Nevamar Corp. in Odenton, Maryland. He was employed there for over twenty years and continued to work other work other jobs. He was a golden Glove Boxer and loved sports. He also liked the horse race track. Joe had a gift of gab, making friend wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friends and a devoted fmily man. Joe also had one very close friend, raymond Parker Pee-Wee who called him the Jellyman. Joe jions his late sisters, Johnny Mae, Mable, Dorthy and Joanne and late brother, Samuel Young. He leaves to mourn; two sons, Joseph Jr. and Terrance Young; three daughters, Constance, Viola and Lanaya Young; four stepsons, Gary, Maurice, Thomas and Jai; two stepdaughters, Geneva and Teresa; sister, Evelyn Young House; six grandchildren, Talisa, Maurice, Nekeyia, Joseph III, Jordon and Harmony; and great-grandson, Donavar. Joe also had two special women in his life, constance Harvard and Schries Carter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
