IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Juan A.
Grant
July 28, 1986 – April 27, 2019
JUAN ANTHONY GRANT, son of the late Michelle Annette Grant and
Sherwood McEachen was born July 28, 1986 at University Hospital in
Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Saturday April 27, 2019.
Juan received his education in the Baltimore City School System,
Matthew A. Henson Elementary School and Carver Vocational Techni-
cal High School. Later he received a certificate from National Center
F or Construction Education and Research.
Juan excepted Christ as his savior and was baptized at Liberty Grace
Church of God. Juan in his life time was an activist for community
rights. He would march with others for the rights of others, he would
speak out until he was heard. Juan was not a violent man, when he felt
something was wrong he would speak out on it.
Juan was a loving and caring person who always wore a smile. He was
playful and good natured, and could add levity to any situation. He was
a special person, and will be remembered by many.
Juan had a great love for his family, willing to offer the shirt off his
back. Some of his favorite past time activities was sports, football and
basketball. There was not a team name or player he did not know about.
He would get so excited when he spoke about his favorite team the
Eagles the veins would bulge from his neck. Juan would drive me crazy
talking about his football/basketball teams, I remember on Friday com-
ing home to the football draft line up station on TV, I'd watch it with him
until I could not take it anymore his favorite phrase was "THAT BOY'S
A BEAST".
Juan leaves to cherish his memory: Grandmother he called (Freddie);
One Son, Juan Jr.; Great Grandmother, Ruth Nelson; Father, Sherwood
McEachen; Brother, Jerome Grant; Sisters, Diamond Davis, Raven
