MS. JUANITA PATRICIA PEARSON-BURGESS, the only daughter of the late Earl and Addie Lee Pearson, was born on July 16, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on February 10, 2026, at 11:35am after a lengthy illness.

She received her formal education through the Baltimore School system where she attended Carter G. Woodson Elementary,.Cherry Hill Junior High, and Forest Park Senior High School. Due to giving birth, Juanita completed her studies at night at City High School.

After receiving her high school education, Juanita became employed as a secretary she later worked in customer service, and as a substitute teacher at Carter G. Woodson Elementary. She attended First Baptist Church of Cherry Hill as a youth just as all of the Pearson’s family.

Juanita lived her life as she thought she should, with no regrets. Regardless if the day was gloomy verses sunny, if she was experiencing a bad time in her daily regime, or if negativity surrounded her, Juanita always kept a smile on her face or she would provide words of encouragement to those who were in need.

Juanita was the last child of the late Earl and Addie to depart this earth to be with the Lord. Her brothers James (Jim), Jerry, and Tony predeceased her. She leaves to mourn: her sons, Sean, Victor Jr, and Marlan; her daughter, Shanice; three nieces, Jencen, Shasmine, and Janie; nephew, Javon; twelve grandchildren, Kierra, Shakia, Tenayah, Joshua, Marlan Jr, Maliyah, Braylan, Lil Victor III, Malik, Madison, Makaya, and Bronx; a cousin, Ms. Barbara Sommerville; a very special family friend, Ms. Kinma; four great- grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
