Juanita was born to Leo and Rosemary Damon on July 26, 1958 in Baltimore Maryland. She was called home to glory on June 15, 2026 at the age of 67. friend to her community. Juanita began her formal education in the Baltimore City Public School system where she graduated from Southern High School. Though she held many positions , she went on to work as a security officer and pursued her career in criminal justice at Phoenix University.

Juanita was known for speaking her mind and saying it like it is. If she liked you, you knew it. If she didn’t, you definitely knew that as well, she was loved by all and kept everyone laughing. She loved spending time with family and friends, going out on outings with her kids and grandkids, attending her monthly girls day with her sisters, shopping, dancing and watching the Ravens.

In her passing, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband James Boyce, Her parents Leo and RoseMary Damon. Her 4 bothers: Ernest, and James Burley, Leo Jr. and Richard Damon. 1 sister: Delores Damon.

Juanita also leaves to cherish her memory to her four Children: Queen Aisha, Joy, Anthony and Chauncey. One daughter in-law Blake Jones, one daughter in-love Zanaira Peacock one son in-love David Higgins. Seven grandkids: Alex Jr., Amari, Emanuel, Eja, Jahkeem, Zaheiry and Billie Lynn. Four great grands: Liam, Alex III, Dhrue and Amir. Four sisters, Mourstine, Patricia, Virginia and Debbie. One Brother: Jerome. Three God daughters: Nicole, Antoinette and Cachet. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family members and close friends.
