Juanita Serena Edwards was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 3, 1963 to Elroy Edwards and Inez Shaw. She was bnaptized at an early age. She was fun-loving, daring and outspoken individual who loved to sew and cook. She also liked to play computer games, watch movies and listen to music. She departed this life on Saturday, December 26, 2009. "Nita," as she was lovingly called, was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1982. Nita moved to Philadelphia and was employed at Cosi Deli. She later relocated back to Baltimore in 2006, and continued her Cosi employment, as well as working full-time at Royal Farms. Nita's primary purpose for moving back to Baltimore was to be closer to her grandchildren. She loved to spoil both Tatyana and Daylin. She was often seen showering them with love and affection. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: two sons, Phillip T. Day and Dwight T. Jenifer, Jr.; two grandchildren, Tatyana M. Day and Daylin D. Jenifer; mother, Inez Witherspoon; two brothers, Mervin Davis and Anthony Daviswife, Vicki; two sisters, Tanga Best husband, Ronnie and Debbie Edwards; five nieces and one great-niece; also, Eleanora Davis, Aaron Burrell, Kianna James, Kiana Hopkins, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
