Obituary

In loving memory of Julia Ann Hunter the first of nine
children of the late Elmer Dowery and the late Emma
Dowery, was born August 23,1938 in Baltimore, MD.

,

After at lengthy illness Julia joined the angels and Jesus
Christ found eternal peace.

Julia attended Carver Vocational School, Julia also went
to night school for cosmetology and receive a certificate
of excellence.

Julia worked at Maryland General Hospital for 31 years,
she worked in the cafeteria. She was last promoted to
Supervisor to the Cooley Dept. She was also promoted to
the manager ofthe gift store. Julia was a faithful member
of the Women Auxiliary. Julia was a good mother and
grandmother she loved gardening and cooking.

Julia leaves to cherish her memory: the late Layman
Hunter; four sons, Paul Hunter, Barry Hunter, Keith
Hunter and the late Craig Hunter; one daughter, the late
Cindy Hunter Burton; six grandchildren, Paris McGuire,
Andrew Hunter, Okela Hunter, Jamal Burton, Natashea
Burton and Felicia Hunter; 10 great-grandchildren, two
brothers, Milton Dowery and John Paul Dowery; six
sisters, the late Cecelia Dowery, the late Caroline Kato
and the late Mary Khraum, Debraroh Johnson, Emma
Darden and Margaret Harris Boardly and a host of niec-
es, nephews and friends.
