Junius was educated in the Baltimore Public School System and later honorably served m the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After his military service, he dedicated over 30 years to working for the State of Maryland. leaving behind o legacy of commitment and service. He was also an avid businessman who owned a hardware store and a grocery store in the seventies. After retirement he worked for Shaffer and Strominger. in Towson, Maryland He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of Oak Street AME Church And he faithfully participated
in the Mt Zion Baptist Church's daily prayer call.

In 2002, Junius married his beloved wife, Carolyn, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship Junius was o man of faith, strength, and kindness. his life was a testament to his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his community He will be remembered for has loving spirit, generous heart, and steadfast faith.

He leaves to mourn, wife Carolyn Lann Purcell, 10 children Larry. Wayne. Carmen, Anthony (wife Kim), Ronda, Lonnie, Derrick (wife Maria). Sean, Adrienne and Thomas (wife Kimberly) Junius also leaves to cherish has memories a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends who will miss him deeply. His parents and sisters. Ethel and Ada preceded him in death May his soul rest in eternal peace and may the comfort of the Lord be with all who grieve has passing
