Karen, who preferred to be called Renee, was born May 18, 1961 to the
wonderful Mozella Elvin and the late James Briggs, Sr. on the night of
February 25,2016, by the will and grace of God, he called our loving
Renee home.

Karen received her education in Baltimore City Public School System. At
an early age Karen became a business owner while maintaining the
duties of a devoted, amazing and dedicated mother. She wore many
hats in our family because everyone always came to her for anything.
She was known as our superwoman. Karen enjoyed cooking and
preparing food for her family and was always there for us whenever we
wanted or needed a home cooked meal, a place to stay or just advice.


Renee was a stylish, creative woman who loved to do arts and crafts,
paint and other home improvements. She was a very passionate and
loving grandmother who loved to spoil her grandkids and always
wanted them to be with her at her home just so she could prepare their
favorite foods. She would always call her "Dolls" (daughters) to talk to
them about the things she had purchased while shopping and to inform
them of the different stores she attended to bW her favorite things.
Renee was a wonderful aunt, mother, cousin~('(jaughter, friend and will
be greatly missed. Thank you for all the things you've done for your
family and friends. Thank you for always being there for us whenever
we needed you. You've been a great person and a major part of all our
hearts. We love you so much Renee.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Mozelle ElVin; three
beloved daughters Courtney Cooper, Chanel Cooper, Raven Johnson;
two sons Gerald Cooper, Adrian Robinson; two sisters Barbara
Weathers, Teresa Weathers; two brothers Eugene Wallace, James
Briggs, Jr.; seven grandchildren Davon, Dayonnah, Arjae, Arnez, Asia,
Aniya, Adrian J. and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and
