Karen passed peacefully from this life the morning of March 24th after a short battle of Uterine Cancer following a victory of Colon Cancer. Karen was born in Baltimore, Md. on April 5, 1958 at City Hospital. She graduated from Dunbar High School and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church. She worked at First National Bank as a Teller and wire transferer. She also worked at Baltimore City Housing Authority as a Meter Reader. She was very good with numbers. She later enjoyed being a Stay-At-Home Grandmother earning the name "Ganny" from Grandchild "ChinaMan". Karen was a jokester. She loved having fun. Karen had the most beautiful and brightest smile and infectious laugh. She loved to read, do puzzles, sing various music & party but most of all spending time with her family. In 2002, after raising her children, Karen married the late Warren C. Clayton Karen was preceded in death by husband, Warren C. Clayton; Mother Nannie Mae Johnson; Brother Samuel (Bill) Johnson Sr.; Grandson Gregory (Man) Parker III. Karen is survived by five children: Andre Cooper (Little), Karen Parker, Gregory Parker (Fat-Man), , India Parker, Edward Johnson III (Man-Man); Grandchildren: Andrea Cooper, Andre Cooper, Deandre Cooper, Andrique Cooper, Gregory (ChinaMan) Edwards, Jr., Dashinique (Neek) Edwards, Dequan Edwards, Courtney Parker, Jamon Brown, , Markus Simmons, Tavon Price, Tay'quan Price, Nyj'ah Johnson,; Great-Grand: Milan Edwards; Her siblings: Janice Johnson, Howard Johnson, Beverly Johnson, Larry Johnson, Jacqueline Phillips; Her close childhood friends: Delores Ray, Geneice Arrington, and Nancy Drummond along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Friends.
