Obituary

Karen Latonya Shannon, affectionately as "Auntie" Daughter of the late Wilbert and Viola Smith. She was born October 4, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. God welcomed his sweet angel home on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

Karen received her education at the local Baltimore city public school where she graduated in June 1983 from Southwestern Senior High School.

Karen worked several jobs over the years until she discovered her love as a caregiver. She gave so much of herself, time, and her LOVE. This position was so fitting for her. She took so much pride in caring for others and sharing a positive word. Karen blessed the world with a beautiful smile and big hugs to go around. She had such a beautiful spirit.

Karen loved to explore different fashion trends. Furious and not afraid she wore whatever she wanted, from: hair, jewelry, make-up and handbags.
