Kassandra Maria Little, affectionately known as Kay by all, daughter of the late Lois Little and the late Christine Little-Delly, was born on July 13, 1955, in Windsor, North Carolina. After a lengthy illness, God called her home on August 8, 2022.
Kassandra was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Southwest Senior High School. She also attended the Community College of Baltimore County in Essex.
Kassandra received an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force Reserves, where she served as a Medical Service Specialist.
Her employers included Bethlehem Steel, the City of Baltimore, and the United States Postal Service, where she eventually retired due to health issues.
Kassandra did not have children of her own but embraced her nieces, nephews, and younger cousins as her children.
She made numerous friends wherever she went. She would always smile, laugh, and sing to brighten any atmosphere. Her laugh was both infectious and contagious. She will truly be missed.
Kassandra accepted Christ and often encouraged others to turn to God for answers. She joined in on several Prayer Calls, including the Prayer Warriors of the Hemmingway Temple AME Church. Even in a wheelchair, she occasionally attended the Empowerment Temple AME Church and enjoyed its Sunday School.
Kassandra was loved by many and was preceded in death by siblings Jimmy Little, Michael Little, and Christopher Little. She leaves to cherish her memory: her sisters, Sheila E. Davis (Kenneth) and Angela Dixon; her aunts Mary, Martha, Rosa Wilkins, and Birdie Raye Little; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives, and friends. Kassandra also had many lifetime friends, including Bernadette, Edra, and Kelly.
