IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathy Manson-
Jones
January 26, 1957 – March 29, 2022
Kathy Manson Jones, the daughter of the late Willam Isaac
Manson and Margaret Malinda Cost-Manson was born January 26, 1957
in Baltimore, Maryland.
On July 29, 2017, Kathy married the love of her life, Brady Jones.
Kathy was the youngest of six children and is preceded in death by
George Manson, Barbara Manson-Brown, and Douglas Manson.
On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, Kathy departed this earthly realm.
Kathy was such a funny, loving, and generous person. As the youngest
child, Kathy looked up to her siblings. She loved to barbeque and enjoyed
great times with her family and friends. At one barbeque she invited her
nephew, to have seat in the chair she thought she'd fixed, and when he
fell off the chair, everyone laughed hysterically. Kathy was also a jack of
all trades and loved gadgets. Anything new and interesting people talked
about, Kathy had to buy and explore.
Kathy was a big fan of cooking and often took pictures of her many
culinary creations. Whenever her sister Wilma needed to go to the
supermarket, Wilma would shop in Kathy's freezer because Kathy always
made sure her freezer was stocked to the fullest! Kathy had a giving
heart and loved feeding her family and friends. She freely showed her
love for everyone she knew. Whenever it was someone's birthday, Kathy
would make them feel like a celebrity with a magazine cover with their
picture commemorating their birthday. Kathy herself was famous for
making her family and friends feel special! Kathy's most loved moments
in life was spending time with her granddaughter, 'Puda'. There was not a
day that would go by when Kathy didn't talk, facetime or text Puda.
Kathy attended Baltimore City Public Schools and worked many different
jobs until her health limited her ability to work. Kathy was a capable
welder, painter, auto mechanic, also handy around the house fixing
things.
Kathy leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Brady Jones;
one child, Asante Diallobe Anderson; one sister. Wilma Manson-Gardner;
one brother, William Manson; stepmother, Thelma Hardy; one aunt,
Erline Joyner of Newport News, Va.; one granddaughter, Asante Corey
Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
