KATHY DENISE WASHINGTON, was the daughter of Marva Byrd (who preceded her in death) and Edward Raynor. Kathy was born on November 26, 1953 in Mt. Olive, North Carolina. Kathy was called home on January 14, 2017 to be with our Lord.

In 1997 She met the love of her life Timothy Jackson and from this union they shared 20 years of pure love.

Kathy received her education in the North Carolina Public School System and later in the Baltimore City Public School System. She was employed as a seamstress for Mack's Rubin Clothing for 10 years and later in life she held several positions in environmental service.

Kathy loved to read books, cook and do her crossword puzzles but her most important hobby was cleaning. She would clean from sunrise to sunset. Kathy was the only child however she was adopted out of love by Mrs. Thomasina Baughn and family. Kathy touched everyone that met her.

Kathy leaves to mourn her five children, Letitia (Tish), Montell (Dawn), Diantis (Dee Dee), Lonneia (Nae), Shanika; her lifelong partner, Timothy (Tim); father, Edward Raynor; eleven grandchildren, Donniece, Michael, Doresha, Monteria, Aleek, Montell Jr., Donta, Sha'Neisha, Tariq, Trinity, Travon, Josiah; eleven great grandchildren; four sisters, Veronica, Shirley, Lisa, Lavern; one brother, Nicky and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, one special cousin, Ronald Washington and friends.
