Kayah Arika Jackson, daughter of Shakia Young and William Jackson, was born on January 31, 2005 in Baltinmore, Maryland. She departed her short life on April 17, 2006. Kayah was a sweet and beautiful little girl who enjoyed playing with other kids especially her big brother. Kayah was so cute when her face lit up, each time see saw her dad. Easter. passing Kayah from one family member to the next as she smiled and kissed each one of them. It was so funny how Kayah never liked to keep her shoes on. She liked to keep her socks in her mouth she must have thought that her socks were a T-bone steak because that's what Shakia ate the whole time she was carrying her. She was really quick with her hands and if you were not careful, she would grab anything in her sight. Little Kayah was an angel and loved by all who was blessed to know her. She will be missed and the memories we have will live in our hearts forever, but her time to meet her grandmother Gwendolyn Yow has come. Kayah has left to cherish her memory: her devoted parents, Shakia Young and William Jackson; brother, Kaire Young; two sisters, Lapria and India Jackson; two uncles, Quincy Young and Mario Wallace; two aunts, Melissa Young and Latonya Wallace; great-grandfather, Samuel Yow; grandparents, David Young, Carolyn and Nicholas Chase; numerous great-aunts and great-uncles, many cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
