Obituary

Keith Johnson, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 15, 1961 to

the late Willie and Odessa Johnson. He was called home to heaven surrounded by his children, his

grand-daughter, his brother and his sisters on September 3, 2019.

Keith began his elementary education at st. Ann's and completed his education, graduating from the Baltimore

City College. He began his career as an Iron Worker and a Welder at Turner Construction Company. He worked

for (2) two years in Atlanta, Georgia as an Iron Worker until the death of his brother Rodney. He spent many

years practicing his trade as a member of Iron Workers Local Union 16 until he became disabled.

His main interest was always his family - his Parents, his daughter Keishawn (Tierra), his son Jamar, his

grand-daughter Amari and his brother and sisters. He was always present at family gatherings. When his mother

fell ill seven (7) years ago, he joined his brother and sisters in taking care of her. He was with her seven (7)

days a week (2417) taking her to Dialysis and doctor appointments. No matter what she needed, Keith was

there to do it. He even cooked her Breakfast during the weekdays.

Although being away from church for many years, after the death of his mother, he came back to St. Ann's

Church and attended every week until his illness prevented him from attending.

He always enjoyed spending time with his buddies, Bruce and Will Hunter, Don and Wayne Pankey, William

Collins and David Jones. Watching westerns was his favorite past-time.

Thirty-three years ago, Keith met Charlene Baker and from this union came his daughter, Keishawn (Tierra)

and then later on in his life he met Wanda Watkins and from that union came his son, Jamar.

He was preceded in his death by his parents, Willie and Odessa, his brother Rodney, Sr., his grandparents, his'

brother-in-law Jimmy, his nephew Rodney, Jr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He will be solely missed by everyone, especially his family and close friends. He leaves to mourn his passing:

his daughter Tierra, his son Jamar, his grand-daughter, Amaria, his special friend Wanda Watkins, his bothers

Kim and James, his sisters, Sharon, Sandra, Robin and Jill, his niece Hope, his nephew James, his great-niece

Maria, his uncle Norman, his aunt Jean, many cousins and a host of friends.
