Keith Mallet was born on January 18, 1959, the son of Douglass and Majorie Pittman of Halifax County, North Carolina. On December 21, 2020 he departed his life peacefully at Franklin Square Hospital.

Keith was educated in the Baltimore City School System. Attending high school at Baltimore City College, after graduation he then went on to Morgan State University, shortly after graduation he joined the United States Army. Upon his return from the army he started working for the Department of Correctional located at the Baltimore City Detention Center where he retired after 30 years of service.

Keith was a devoted father, grandfather and son. He loved watching sports, telling jokes and also helping others.

Keith was preceded in death by his father and stepfather.

He is survived by: his mother, Marjorie Brown Pittman Lee; one daughter, Sentoria Pittman; six grandchildren, Aiden, Aston, Aubrey, Alston, Ariel and Adonis; one sister, Wanda McCoy; special friend, Zina McKenzie; three devoted friends, Carl Bell, Kenneth Morten and Yvette Larkins and a host of family and friends.
