Keith Purnell Roberts , was born on August 11, 1953 to Sedonia Roberts and
the late McLean Roberts in Baltimore, Maryland. He was called to eternal
rest the morning of December 23, 2016,

Keith attended the Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from
Dunbar Sr. High in 1971, where he excelled on the varsity track team.
Following high school, he served 15 years with distinction as a Marine,
responsible for his battalion's legal and charge matters, with tours of duty in
Lebanon and Grenada. He received many citations and honors before
retiring as a staff sergeant in 1987. The discipline and patriotism he learned
while in the Marine Corps never left him -his family and friends could
attest to his privilege as a soldier. For example, he only bought American
cars, and was always early for every appointment or engagement. Upon
returning home from the military, he worked several years with the Balti-
more City Department of Public Works and Randstad Services.

Keith accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized in 1993 at the Garden
of Prayer Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD. As a young person and through-
out his adulthood, he was a quiet and humble person. He was often stem, but
had the spirit and generosity of a giver- always a support to others. His
hobbies were playing chess, watching western movies, particularly movies
with John Wayne, and fishing. He enjoyed time spent with his mother and
devoted daughters, Krystal and Darcell.

Keith was truly blessed. On November 19, 2005, he married the former
Arneathia Robinson, and of this union their families united. In addition to
his wife and two daughters, who will cherish his memory, he leaves his
mother, Sedonia Tisdale; sons-in-law, Troy (Krystal) and Darryl (Darcell);
three sons, Brenton, Randy, and Emmanuel; six brothers, Deary, Otis
(Brenda), Steven (Sylvia), James, Frederick (Dawn), and Tremmele (Afua);
seven sisters, Bonnie, Zeter Marie, Alice, Trisha (Jerome), Donna, Tiara
(Jonathan), and Angie (Sherman); in-laws, Theodore, Lloyd and Doreathia;
16 grandchildren; one great grandchild, a very large extended family of
other in-laws, relatives, and friends. Greeting him at the Holy Gates, are
James Tisdale -the father and dominant male figure until his passing in
2002; one brother, James, Jr.; two sisters, Pamela Evangeline and Brontae;
a son, Derrick; and in-laws, Jerome, Kenneth, Sr., Wanda, Micheal and John.
