IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kelvin W.
Powell
December 3, 1957 – September 17, 2016
KELVIN (KEVIN) POWELL was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Leroy Powell, Sr. and Florine Powell on December 3, 1957. God called him home to eternal glory on September 17, 2016 after a lengthy illness. He gave his life to Christ at a young age. He was saved and knew the Lord.
Kevin was one of seven children born to Leroy and Florine Powell. He attended Baltimore City Public School. He worked various jobs but his passion was electronics. He loved to fix electronics such as televisions, radios, fans and microwaves.
He was a great artist. He loved to draw. He loved comedy and was quite the joker. He liked to make people laugh. He loved music, especially disco music. He loved to dance. He was truly a Michael Jackson fan and loved to do the moonwalk. His favorite song was "Keep on Dancing" by Marvin Gaye.
He had no children of his own, but he helped his sister Valerie Edwards raise her five children. He would help anyone he could.
He leaves to mourn: his siblings Leroy (Jerry) Powell [r., Debra Powell, Diana Wallace, and Valerie Edwards; nieces and nephews, Raymond Powell, Theresa Powell, Craig Fletcher, Eric Powell and Shayron Bradley; other nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
