IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth L.
Bonaparte
April 10, 1950 – August 21, 2019
Kenneth Lee Bonaparte age 69 passed away August 21, 2019, after
a battle with a lengthy illness. He was born on April 10, 1950 to
Leroy Bonaparte and Ruby L. Bonaparte Hall.
Kenneth attended Carver Vocational Technical High School in
Baltimore, Maryland where he studied Commercial Drafting.
After High School, Kenneth worked at Western Electric as an
Electronic Technician, where he met his former wife Senithia
Hilliard Adams. Out of this union came two daughters Kenithia
and Kendra. During his time at Western Electric he developed
various skills that led him to open his own sign company which
was based at Dunn and Bradstreet. His passion for print and design
was inspired by his trade at Carver H.S.
One of his notable moments as an artist came during the 1969
World Series, when he designed banners to support the Baltimore
Orioles and sold them at the Memorial Stadium. As his career
progressed, he lent his skills to numerous design and print shops
across Baltimore.
His art and print work can still be seen at local businesses through-
out Baltimore City. He also occasionally freelanced as a profes-
sional model at a local agency.
Throughout his life Kenneth (or "Bones" as he was affectionately
known), developed many fond relationships with people he came
in contact with. His cheerful spirit, warm smile and sharp sense of
humor were sure to make an impact on all those he met. One of his
proudest moments was the birth of his grandson Melvin Grant. He
took pride in being a grandfather and father and some of his most
precious times were spent with his grandson and children. He was
a devoted to his loving immediate and extended family.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter Kenithia, father
Leroy, mother Ruby Lee, brother Melvin.. and nephew Leroy
Moore Jr.
He is survived by his devoted children, daughter Kendra Bonaparte
and son Jamol West, sisters Joan Bonaparte and Beverly Ann
Russeau (husband Joel), grandson Melvin Grant and a host of other
relatives and friends.
