IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth "Henry"
Lee, Jr.
August 16, 1971 – March 4, 2018
Kenneth "Henry" Ellsworth Lee, Jr.,
son of Lydia J. Turner
and Kenneth Ellsworth Lee, Sr., was born on August 16, 1971
in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Sunday,
March 4,2018.
Kenneth received his education in the Baltimore City
and Howard County Public School Systems. He worked
various jobs, including working at 84 Lumber with his
uncles Robert Turner, Sr. and David Turner, Sr. He was
raised in the Baptist Church and practiced Islam.
His Great Aunt Dorothy Mae Butler gave Kenneth his
family nickname "Henry" before he was born and it stayed
with him until adulthood. His other nicknames included
"Grumpy" by his Uncle David and "Buppie" by his aunt
Deborah Brown.
Kenneth loved to talk and was very informed on many
subjects. One of his favorite hobbies as a child was building
obstacle courses out of books in his room. As a young man,
Kenneth and his cousin Darryl "Sam" Tucker would assist
their grandmother with taking care of their Uncle
Raynard Turner.
In 2005, Kenneth welcomed his only son, Kenneth Lee Smith,
with Tequila Smith. Kenneth and Kenny would affectionately
address each other by the nickname "Booster". They spent
their time together attending Kenny's baseball and football
games, exploring Baltimore, and working on cars with their
Uncle David.
He wasn't perfect, but he was loved.
Preceding him in death: Cousin Darryl "Sam" Tucker,
and Grandfather Oscar Turner, Sr.
