KENNETH GARLAND PAIGE, the son of Doris and Allen Paige, whom preceded him in death, was born on May 29, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. His sister, Renee and brother, Michael also preceded him in death. He departed this life suddenly on Sunday, January 6, 2013. Kenneth received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. His passion was the sport of basketball and no one could touch him on the court. You couldn't tell Kenny, the name everyone called him, that he couldn't sing and he can't carry a tune. As a teenager Kenny was employed with Hampden Roofing Company until the year 2007. He leaves to mourn: his daughter, Dawn; three grandsons, Tai'Yaune, Jaran'Ye and Qhhi'Yon; two sisters, Diane Freeman and Jacqueline Mike; three brothers, Bobby of New Jersey, Maurice and Ronnie of Baltimore, Maryland; one godsister, Renee of Virginia; one aunt, Delores Moten; one very special close companion, Crystal Ordduff; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. I'M FREE Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me; I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play; Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy; A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow; My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
