Kenneth ra'mon Redfern, affectionately known as "Boot" was born November 6, 1968 to the proud parents of the late King Edward Redfern and David Mae. He was educated in the city schools of Baltimore and received Christian training at John Wesley Methodist Church. He we employed with National tire and Battery co. and Aaron Rental Center. Kenneth was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He enjoyed laughter and had a million dollar smile. He enjoyed parties, dancing and good time with family and friends. Whenever he was, he was the life of the party. As a child he was mischievous and full of practical jokes. Kenneth was loved by the by the ladies and was quite the ladies man. However, one special lady captured his heart, Michelle. She and Kenneth were married on Febuary 29, 2003. Kenneth was willing to lend a hand whether it was working on your cr or using his barbering exdpertise. He also enjoyed working with the children in the Saturday Academy at John Wesley UMC. He departed this life October 17, 2009. He leaves to recall fond memories; A loving and devoted mother David Mae Redfern; six children; Kiesha, Travis, Zanicka, David, Talia and demetrious; two brothers; Darnell and Larry; two sisters; Theresa and Patricia two sisters preceded him in death, Joyce and Diane; two grandchildren; D'Aji and Jaile; Aunts; Hilda, Lola, Saundra and Amy of Baltimore, Joyce, Sherri and Wilane of Charlotte, N.C. One Great Aunt; Annie Mae durham; Uncles; William, Willie, Samuel and Joseph, billy Dukes of North Carolina and James Redfern of Buffalo, New York, Godmother Bertha Wilson; Godsister La 'Ta Fleming, a dear friend Karen. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
