Our Heavenly father in His Divine Wisdom and Providence, proclaimed His Will to deliver His child Kenneth Larry Smith, son of the lat Paul and Lillie Mae Smith to His eternal bosom of glory on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Kenneth was born on July 6, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland. Kenneth was one of ten children. He received his education in the Baltimore city School System. He started his career working for Baltimore City and the branched off in construction working along side his late father, Paul Smith. In 1990, he met a young woman named Leila Carter Pat which later became his wife on December 3, 2009. From this union they raised four children. They were married for three years until God called him home. Kenny was a devoted family man who had a passion for making sure that everyone was okay. He put everybody before himself. He kept a smile on everyone's face. He was rich at heart. Heaven has opened it's door for an angel. He leaves his most cherished memory with; his wife, Leila Carter-Smith; four children, Capria Smith, Jamie, Kevin and Brittany; eight grandchildren, Terry, Tamia, Styrinae, Kelis, Tynisha, Drayon, Tony and Kyaire; four sisters, Christine, Cynthia, Paulette and Lillie; three brothers, Paul Jr., Allen and Troy; mother-in-law, Sarah Stewart; aunt, Claire Hamlin; uncle Robert Hamlin not only an uncle, but best friend, who came to dinner every Sunday; two sisters-in-law, Beverly and Janet; four brothers-in-law, Chris, Charles, Melvin and Bobby, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
