Kenneth Lee Stone departed this life quietly and peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the home of his care-giver, Ms. Kimberly Govan in Baltimore, Maryland. Kenny or "Teddy Bear" as he was affectionately known by his friends, was born to Thomas L. and Helen B. Stone on July 5,1972. Kenny showed a keen interest in drawing, painting, music and singing at a very early age. He was very gifted, a quick learner and made it a point to explore different facets of computers and electronics. Kenny attended Flintstone Elementary School, Central High School, Bell Multi-Cultural High School as well as Howard Community College. In his early 20S, Kenny fell in love and married Tamar Je'nine Stiner and soon after started a family. He leaves us cherish his memory, his wife, Tamar, his son, Kemari, age 22, daughters Tanyra, age 17, Loa, age 16, Alex Govan, age 19 and his care-giver, Kimberly Govan--as well as a host of close relatives and friends. They will forever be his pride and joy. Kenny was known as a loving "father-figure" who was quick to use laughter and extend a listening ear or give constructive advice, to his family, friends and extended family. Kenny's health started to decline in his late 30S. It was then that he entered various hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, recovering from on-going illnesses and other medical conditions. It was during this time that he met Kimberly Govan, who would be his care-giver until his passing. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
