IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kermey
Carter
April 21, 1950 – January 1, 2021
Kermy Lee Carter, departed us on Friday, January 1, 20215 after reaching the age of 70 years old.
Kermey was born on April 21, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Bertha Theresa Carter and the late Aloysius Penn Carter, Sr. As a young lad, Kermey enjoyed growing up with his seven siblings and close cousins. Kermey was educated in the Baltimore City School system where his favorite subjects were lunch and recess. When life got serious, Kermey obtained a job at the Suburban House as a sous-chef. Later, Kermey was employed at the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company.
During his journey in life, Kermey met Evelina Cameron where they birth two children. Kermey was a jolly soul and enjoyed having a great time. It was customary for him to be the one to start the party or grab your hand to ask for a dance. Kermey was also serious about taking a good nap. His naps were interrupted may times by his nieces and nephews looking for a good laugh or by his parents or siblings needing him to run an errand. The love and light of Kermey will surely be missed by all that knew him.
Kermey is preceded in death by parents, Aloysius Penn Carter, Sr and Bertha Theresa Carter; daughter, Marcella Cameron; brother, Robert Carter; and sister, Beverly Carter.
Kermey is survived by son, Kermey Cameron; grandchildren, Maurice Cameron and Marcella Cameron; great-grandchildren, Serenity Cameron, Syncire Cameron, Rhymel Brown and Gabriella Kearney. His siblings, Aloysius Jr, Jacqueline, Cynthia, Barbara; and, a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and relatives.
