IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kevin E.
Briggs, Jr.
December 10, 1992 – April 2, 2019
Kevin Ernest Briggs Junior was born December 10,1992 to the late Kevin Briggs
Senior and Celia Brunson. Kevin was raised in Baltimore, MD by his grandfather
Ernest Briggs who later moved the two of them to York, Pennsylvania, where
Kevin attended Dover High School. After his grandfather's passing in April 2011,
he returned to Baltimore to live with his uncle Squire and aunt Kathy, where he
resided until he started independent living at the age of 19.
While in Pennsylvania, he attended the House of Worship and in Baltimore he
attended the FCF world outreach in Owings Mills. Kevin knew the Lord and kept
a bible with him to study God's word. He worked at numerous fast food
restaurants such as Burger King, McDonald's, Checkers, and Midtown BBQ &
Brew. He had a smile that could light up a room, was a happy soul and could
clean a house as good as any woman. Anything a family member asked of him,
he would try his best to fulfill as the humble spirit he was.
Kevin leaves to cherish his memories: four sisters Shanika, Julia, Tynisha and
Tameka. Three aunts, One uncle,S great aunts, 4 great uncles, 7 nieces, Nai'teya,
Taniyah, Shanae, [a'nika, Ayanna and Mi'Queen; 3 nephews, Joseph, Ancil and
Avion; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Qualities of Kevin
Kind, had a bright, beautiful smile that would light up a room. Kevin was helpful
always willing to offer a hand. Full of knowledge and was ready to share it.
Respectable person, well mannered, and would give his last to the next person.
He was the type that if you asked him to accompany you for a mile, he was
willing to go with you the whole way. Protective of his sister's and nieces.
Aunt Kathy-
Kevin, when I saw you just weeks ago and spoke with you, days ago. I would
have never thought in my wildest dreams it would be the last time we would
have crossed paths on this earth. Nephew, you know Squire and I loved you.
When your pop-pop left we were there to take you in when no one else stepped
up. My heart is broken for Squire and you. People didn't know that you had your
own personal relationship with God. So I am confident that I will see you both
again. So until we meet again, rest on. Out of sight, but never out of mind and in
my heart.
