Kevin Michael Ellis, the son of the late James Calvin Ellis and the late Clementine Mosby, was born on September 2, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on October 28, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Kevin, who was known by many as MacGyver, attended the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked numerous construction jobs, but his last job was with Masonry Resurfacing as a Sandblaster for twenty years. Kevin was quiet, very loving and kind with a big heart. He loved music and his guitar and most of all he loved the Lord. No matter what his struggles in life were he knew that God was in control. Kevin and Claudette were united on November 19, 1987, and out of this union was born one son, Keith Michael Ellis. Kevin is survived by his loving, devoted wife, Claudette; son , Keith M. Ellis; stepson, Byron; stepdaughter, Seanice; three grandchildren, Madison, Byron and Hayden; two sisters, Patricia Charles and Beverly Walter; two brothers, Gary and James; uncle, William Henry; father-in-law, Claude Mitchell; sister-in-law, Harriet Mitchell; brothers-in-law, Gregory Ann, Floyd, Lewis and Karl Shirley; five nieces, Karen, Danielle, Adrienne, Sharnell and Stephanie; two nephews, Michael and William; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends, Mother Linda Cooper, Lamart, Albert, Kenny, Bert, Billy and Sam.
