Kevin Shawn Friend Duncan, biological son to Virginia Friend, adopted by Dennis and Wanda Duncan was born on July 23,1971 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on November 1, 2016 after a lengthy illness.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. After graduating high school, Kevin became a representative of MCI Telephone Company. A year or sometime later he became an auto body repair specialist. Then moved on to working as a carrier for a package delivery service. During that time he studied piano, becoming a skilled pianist that played for several churches.

In the year 2016, debilitating illnesses caused Kevin to cease working and have undergo several surgeries as well as dialysis.

Kevin enjoyed listening to and playing music, watching movies in particular horror movies; loved socializing and had many friends.

He leaves to mourn: his adopted parents, Dennis Duncan (Wanda); sisters, Nicole Friend and Hazina Duncan; brothers, James Surles and Andre Dorsey; sons, Kevin Jr. and Kavon Crockett; daughters, Keona and Khanita Jones and Solana Duncan; grandchildren, Ayden and Amani Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other family members.
