Kevin Lashley son of George Amos Lashley and the late Carrie Lashley was born July 5, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. He fell asleep in death peacefully, after a lengthy illness November 30, 2016.

Kevin grew up on the Westside of Baltimore mainly in the 21223 zip code area. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He completed the GED program at Howard County Community College. Once he received his GED, he completed a course to receive his CNAIGNA certification. Kevin worked varies jobs in his profession both at health care faculties and private deputy. He loved caring for the elderly.

Kevin acknowledged a need to draw close to GOD, he join a church in his neighborhood, St. John Baptist Church in Columbia, Maryland.

Kevin, also known as Baby Kevin loved music, dancing, karate and comedy movies. Most of all he loved hanging out with family and friends joking and talking trash.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Carrie Lashley and two brothers; Edward (Eddie) Ingram and George (Allen) Lashley and nephew Antonio (Rakim) Lashley all whom he loved so dearly.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memories; His Father George Amos Lashley, Kobe (adopted son) his niece Sakeena, Four nephews Rashaud, Rashaun and Resheed Lashley, who he loved and raised as his own since 2003, Two sisters Mollie (Barbara) Leak and Geraldine (Dean) Lashley, three brothers James Leak Jr., Barry (wife Donna) and Antonio Lashley(Gloria Barnes), two Uncles Melvin Lashley of Royal Oaks, MD and John Wesley Ingram of Winston- Salem, two Aunts Myrtle and Purdies of Winston-Salem, two cousins that was like brothers Donald and Ronald Ingram; ten other nieces Tiffany and Mi- chelle Ingram, Raquel, Latrice and Laverne (Maira) Leak, Latonya, Nikitah and LaDeia Lashley, Risheena Layton, Ebony Edison and three niece in-laws; seventeen other nephews Reginald (P-wee) and Edward (Weasel) Ingram, Edward (Ed) Brown, III, LaTrell (Trell) and Rayonn (Ray) Leak, James Anthony, James, III (Buddy), Ibe and Kelly Leak, Dewayne and Tavon Lashley, Randolph (Benny) Edison, Jr., Barry (Lil Barry), Avery, Maurice, Sean Lashley and Reynard Lowery and one nephew in-law; Forty-nine Great Nephews and Nieces and Thirty-four Great Great Nephews and Nieces. Also, his lifelong friends Val Nixon and Marshall West and his Sponsor/friend Jerome Eaton who Kevin lean on for support and encouragement during his recovery and illness, as well as a host of cousins and lifelong friends that was as close as family.
