KEVIN LAMONT TURNER, son of Ernell Turner and Pearl Diggs was born on November 10, 1976 in Baltimore, MD. He went home to be with the Lord on October 18, 2013 after a short illness. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public school system. He studied automotive mechanics at Lincoln Technical Institute and worked on auto repair, especially for friends and family, who greatly appreciated the assist. In July 2008, Kevin married the former Shanika Lewis and the two shared a deep, loving relationship creating a large, beautiful family that they both adored. Kevin was a very fun-loving and outgoing person. He made tons of friends everywhere he went. He loved to tinker with gadgets and electronics and he also loved to cook and bake. Many people loved his cooking and he bragged that he came from a long line of good cooks. It was in his genes. Mostly, he loved being with his kids and his family. A good day was being with his "string of pearls". He loved playing football with his buddies, which is how he got the nickname "MUDD"; often the smallest player, he was covered in it by the time the game was over. And Kevin was a raging a Baltimore Ravens fan! Every game was a call to Ravens Nation and his presence will always be felt. He leaves to mourn his oldest daughter Kayla (daughter of Tammy). From his union with Shanika, who preceded him in death, six girls and one boy were born: AT^aya, Tinaye, Ellagant (Ella), Kamanee, Jada, Kevin Jr. and Jasmine. He also leaves his father Ernell Turner, his mother Pearl Diggs, Charlene Byrd (mother-in-law) (David), his aunts: Clara (Jimmy), and Robbie (Steven); sister-in-law Charlene (John), brothers-in-law Donte (Monique), Marvin (Bernadette), Antoine (Darcenda) and a host of other relatives and friends who love him.
