KEVIN LAVARD WOODS, son of Joseph Johnson, Jr. and the
late Delores Woods blessed his parents with his birth on
December 16,1957, and departed his life on March 21, 2016.

Kevin who was affectionately known as "Bones" a name that he
acquired from childhood was born and raised in Baltimore,
Maryland where he received his education and eventually his
High School Diploma.

As a child and throughout his teenage years, Bones loved
spending time with his big brother Michael. They went from
building pigeon coupes to thinking they were ladies men, and
then later trying to start up a singing group with their cousins and
some friends. They thought they were the next Delphonics or
maybe the Stylistics.

Due to a very unfortunate incident that occurred early on, Bones
was deprived of twenty-six years of life. However, he refused to
allow any set backs to dictate where his future would lead him.
Although Bones was faced with many challenges and obstacles
throughout his life he remained strong and fought his battles
courageously. He proved this to be true over these last four years.

Bones was preceded in death by his brothers Tony, Billy, and
Michael; sister Diane; and Mother Sissy. He missed them all very
much.

Bones leaves to cherish his memories, father Joseph Johnson, Jr.;
two daughters, Tiffany Woods, and Teressa Gaines; one sister
in-law, Ernestine Wilson; one aunt, Francis (Mickey) Wyche; one
granddaughter, Morgan; three grandsons, Isaiah, Tyler, and
Hayes; three nieces, Dawn, Latina, and Kimberly; seven nephews,
Troy, Guy, Anthony, Jerome, Tony, Damion, and Clifton (Lil Bill); a
life long companion Debora; a special friend Vicky, and a host of
