Kim Maurice Nelson son of Gloria Harris and the late Frank Nelson was born on Aug. 5, 1958 in Baltimore, Md. He departed this life on July 8,2015 after a lengthy illness. Kim received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System. He received his Associates degree in Addiction Counseling from Baltimore City Community College. Kim made his living as a roofer and doing construction at Sparrows Point. Kim knew the Bible very well. It was his passion. He could talk about God all day. He loved sweets, and to joke. He also loved his family with all his heart. He leaves to mourn: His mother Gloria Harris, one daughter Shannise Shanntelle Nelson, two sons Deandre L. Cure and Donja A. McCoy, two brothers James A. Nelson and Frank E. Nelson, six nieces and a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and loving friends and family. Special thanks to: His devoted friend, Brother Lesley.
